Say Goodbye to Fruit Flies and Gnats for Good – The Paper Towel Trick

This method uses a paper towel, apple cider vinegar, and a small container to lure and trap the flies:

Ingredients & Supplies:

A small glass or bowl

Apple cider vinegar (or any sweet, fermented liquid)

A piece of paper towel

Instructions:

Pour a small amount of apple cider vinegar into the glass.

Roll or fold a piece of paper towel into a funnel shape.

Place the funnel into the glass with the narrow end down, but not touching the liquid.

Fruit flies and gnats are attracted to the vinegar and fly into the funnel.

Once inside, they cannot escape and eventually drown in the vinegar.
