Fluffy Jamaican Coco Bread

Introduction
Soft, slightly sweet, and rich with buttery coconut flavor, Jamaican Coco Bread is a Caribbean favorite that’s as comforting as it is versatile. Though it’s called “coco” bread, it actually doesn’t contain cocoa—its name comes from the use of coconut milk, which gives the bread its tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Commonly served folded over a Jamaican patty or enjoyed as a side with savory stews, coco bread is simple to make and even easier to love.

Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp granulated sugar

1 packet (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast

1 tsp salt

¾ cup warm coconut milk (not hot; around 110°F / 43°C)

¼ cup warm water

3 tbsp melted butter (plus extra for brushing)

1 egg, beaten

How to Make:
