Activate the yeast:
In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Prepare the dough:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk eggs lightly. Add melted butter and the yeast mixture.
Gradually add flour and salt, mixing to form a soft dough. Knead on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
First rise:
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Assemble the bread:
Punch down the dough and roll it out into a large rectangle.
Evenly spread shredded cheese and pepperoni slices over the dough.
Shape the loaf:
Roll the dough tightly into a log starting from one long side. Pinch the edges to seal.
Second rise:
Place the rolled dough seam-side down on a greased baking sheet or loaf pan. Cover and let rise for 30–40 minutes.
Bake:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the bread for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Cool and serve:
Let the bread cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
