Savory Cauliflower and Minced Meat Casserole – A Comforting One-Dish Meal

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Prepare the cauliflower: Boil or steam cauliflower florets for 5 minutes until slightly tender but not mushy. Drain well.

Cook the minced meat mixture:

Heat olive oil and vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add sliced onions and red bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Add minced meat, ½ tablespoon salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking up any lumps.

Combine casserole:

In the greased baking dish, layer the cooked cauliflower evenly.

Pour the minced meat mixture over the cauliflower and spread evenly.

Sprinkle the remaining salt over the top.

Add cheese topping (optional): Sprinkle grated cheese on top for a golden crust.

Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted and golden.

Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro before serving.
