Cleaning the Washing Machine (Yes, it needs cleaning!)

Over time, detergent residue, hard water minerals, and mold can build up inside your washing machine—causing bad smells, mildew, and less effective washes.

How to Clean It Naturally:

You’ll need:

2 cups white vinegar

¼ cup baking soda

Optional: a few drops of essential oil (like tea tree or lavender for scent and antibacterial properties)

Steps:

Set your machine to the hottest and longest cycle.

Add baking soda directly to the drum.

Pour vinegar into the detergent compartment.

Start the cycle and let it run.

Afterward, wipe down the drum, rubber gasket (if front-loading), and inside of the door with a clean cloth.

✅ Result: No more funky smells or soap gunk—just a fresh, clean machine that works better!
