Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
Gradually add the oil while continuing to beat until well combined.
Slowly pour in the milk and mix gently.
Sift the baking powder into the mixture, then fold it in carefully to keep the batter airy.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
