Initial Cleaning:
Wipe down the yellowed plastic surface with warm soapy water to remove dirt and grime. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Make a Paste:
Mix baking soda and a small amount of water to create a thick paste.
Apply Paste:
Rub the baking soda paste onto the yellowed plastic using a cloth or sponge. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes.
Rinse:
Rinse off the paste with warm water.
Hydrogen Peroxide Soak:
For stubborn yellowing, soak a cloth in hydrogen peroxide and wrap it around the plastic part. Leave it in bright indirect sunlight for 2–4 hours. (This is a mild bleaching process.)
Vinegar Rinse:
After soaking, rinse the plastic with white vinegar diluted in water to neutralize the hydrogen peroxide.
Final Clean:
Wash the plastic again with mild dish soap and water, then dry completely.
