Stretch the plastic bag over the broom’s bristle head. Make sure it covers the bristles snugly but still allows a bit of flexibility. If needed, secure it with a rubber band or tie it in place with string.
Sweep As Usual
Sweep your floor just like you normally would. The plastic creates static electricity as it moves, attracting fine dust, pet hair, and lint like a magnet.
Gather and Dispose
Once you’ve collected the debris into a pile, remove the plastic bag if needed, and use a dustpan to scoop up the mess. Discard the debris and bag (or save the bag if still clean).
