Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of a baking dish.
Add the cooked ground turkey evenly over the sauce layer.
Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the turkey and spread evenly.
Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Optional: For a golden top, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
