How to Clean Limescale from Your Shower Faucet

Fill the plastic bag with white vinegar—enough to submerge the limescale-affected part of the faucet.

Attach the bag around the faucet using a rubber band or twist tie, making sure the faucet is soaked in vinegar.

Let it soak for 1 to 2 hours. For tough buildup, leave it overnight.

Remove the bag and scrub gently with an old toothbrush or soft sponge. The limescale should come off easily.

If some stubborn spots remain, make a paste of baking soda and water, apply it to those spots, and scrub again.

Rinse thoroughly with warm water and wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent new deposits.

Tips:
Repeat the process if needed for heavy buildup.

Avoid harsh chemical cleaners—they can damage your faucet’s finish.

For regular upkeep, wipe down your faucet after each shower to reduce limescale buildup.

You’ll be amazed how shiny and fresh your faucet looks after this simple treatment! Want more home cleaning hacks? Just ask!
