Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion, sauté until soft and translucent (about 5 minutes).
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant (1–2 minutes).
Add the chopped bell pepper and cook until slightly softened but still vibrant (3–4 minutes).
Add the cooked chickpeas to the pan, stirring well to combine.
Season with salt and pepper (and chili flakes, if using), then cook for another 5 minutes, letting the flavors meld and chickpeas heat through.
Serve hot as a side dish, or with rice, flatbread, or your favorite grain for a wholesome meal.
