Prepare the Ginger
Wash your ginger root thoroughly. Peeling is optional — you can keep the skin if you prefer. Chop into small pieces to make blending easier.
Blend
Place the chopped ginger into your blender. Add about 1 cup of water for each large ginger root you’re using. Blend until smooth and pulpy.
Strain
Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl or jug. Use a spoon to press down and extract as much juice as possible.
Flavor (Optional)
Add fresh lemon juice and honey to taste. Stir well to combine.
Enjoy
Your fresh ginger juice is ready to sip! Drink it straight, dilute with water, or mix into smoothies and teas.
