Homemade Cheese with Only 3 Ingredients

In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it reaches about 85-90°C (just below boiling, small bubbles forming).

Remove from heat and stir in the yogurt thoroughly.

Gradually add the lemon juice (or vinegar), stirring gently. You will see curds forming.

Let the mixture rest undisturbed for 10-15 minutes.

2. Drain the Cheese

Place the cotton cloth or cheesecloth inside a colander over a bowl.

Pour the curdled milk mixture into the cloth.

Add salt to taste, then gather the cloth edges and tie to form a bundle.

Let it drain for 2-3 hours at room temperature, or refrigerate overnight for firmer cheese.

3. Enjoy!

Carefully unwrap the cheese from the cloth.

Store in the refrigerator and consume within 3-4 days.
