Garlic Cheddar Puff Pastry Twists

Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic and paprika until combined.

Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.

Spread the garlic butter evenly over the pastry.

Sprinkle grated Cheddar evenly on top.

Fold the pastry in half lengthwise and press lightly to seal.

Cut into 2–3 cm wide strips and twist each strip gently.

Place twists on the tray, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle optional garnish.

Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden, puffed, and crisp.

Let cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.
