Yoghurt Marinated Chicken

Place the whole chicken in a roasting dish.

In a bowl, crush garlic cloves and mix with all spices and yoghurt until combined.

Rub this marinade all over the chicken thoroughly.

Cover and refrigerate for about 6 hours or overnight for best flavor.

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Optionally place potatoes underneath the chicken in the roasting dish.

Roast chicken for 1.5 hours until cooked through and golden.

Add lemon juice and zest over the chicken at the end before serving.
