Bacon and Cheese Puff Pastry

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.

Spread Dijon mustard evenly over the pastry (optional).

Sprinkle the chopped bacon and shredded cheese evenly over the pastry.

Season with salt and pepper.

Fold the pastry in half and press the edges to seal.

Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.

Cut into desired shapes or strips.

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
