Vegan Apple Crisp: A Warm and Comforting Dessert

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and half the brown sugar. Spread evenly in a baking dish.

In another bowl, mix oats, almond flour, remaining brown sugar, salt, and nuts (if using). Stir in melted coconut oil and maple syrup until crumbly.

Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples.

Bake for 35–40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and apples are tender.

Let cool slightly before serving.
