Prepare a mold: Line a small rectangular dish or silicone mold with parchment paper or use a reusable soap mold.
Make the syrup base: In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat gently over medium heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves.
Add lemon juice: Once the mixture thickens slightly, add the lemon juice and continue stirring for 5 more minutes. It should become syrupy but not too thick.
Pour and set: Remove from heat and pour the liquid into your mold. Let it cool at room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator overnight.
Cut into bars: Once firm, remove from the mold and cut into soap-sized pieces.
