How to Revive a Dead Orchid with Just 1 Spoon of a Natural Ingredient

Inspect the Orchid
Remove the orchid from its pot. Gently rinse the roots with lukewarm water and trim away any dead, mushy, or black roots with sterile scissors.

Apply the Cinnamon
Dab a small amount of ground cinnamon on the cut root areas or any part of the plant that appears infected or damaged. This will disinfect and protect the wounds.

Let the Orchid Dry
Place the orchid in a dry, shady area for 24 hours to let the cinnamon do its work and allow the wounds to callous over.

Replant and Water
Repot the orchid in fresh orchid bark or moss. Water lightly, ensuring the pot has excellent drainage. Avoid overwatering in the first few days.
