Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves. For a smoother sauce, you can also grate the garlic.
In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.
Mix thoroughly until the sauce is creamy and well blended.
Add salt to taste, and if you like, a pinch of black pepper or fresh parsley.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes if you want the flavors to meld, but it’s delicious right away too!
