Cheesy Parmesan Pork Chops with Creamy Scalloped Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

In a baking dish, layer the thinly sliced potatoes evenly. Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the potatoes.

Pour the heavy cream evenly over the potatoes.

Sprinkle half of the Parmesan cheese over the potatoes.

Place the seared pork chops on top of the potatoes. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on the pork chops.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly, and potatoes are tender.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
