Roast (if not already roasted): Roast dried dandelion root in a pan over medium heat until it turns dark brown and aromatic.
Simmer: In a small saucepan, add water and dandelion root. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain: Strain the liquid into a cup using a fine mesh sieve.
