Prepare the ribs: Remove the silver skin membrane from the back of the ribs for tenderness. Pat ribs dry with paper towels.

Make the dry rub: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.

Apply rub: Rub olive oil or spray on ribs, then generously coat both sides with the dry rub mixture.

Preheat air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cook ribs: Place ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through. For extra crispiness, cook an additional 5 minutes if needed.

Rest and serve: Let ribs rest for 5 minutes before cutting. Serve hot with your favorite sides or BBQ sauce.

Tips:

Adjust spices to taste.

For saucier ribs, brush BBQ sauce after cooking and air fry for 2-3 more minutes.

Use foil to line your air fryer basket for easier cleanup.
