Add water, orange peel, and sliced ginger to a saucepan.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
(Optional) Add turmeric powder during the final 2 minutes of simmering.
Strain the liquid into a cup.
Stir in honey if desired.
Drink warm, 1–2 times per day.
