Easy Chili Cheese Dip (Crowd-Pleasing Southern Favorite)

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.

Spread the cream cheese in an even layer on the bottom of the dish.

Layer the chili on top of the cream cheese. If using diced chilies or jalapeños, sprinkle them evenly over the chili.

Mix the cheeses: In a bowl, combine shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack. Sprinkle this cheese mixture on top of the chili layer.

Season with garlic powder and optional smoked paprika.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.

Serve hot with tortilla chips or toasted bread rounds.
