Ingredients:

1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil or butter (divided use)

1 large onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

10 oz (300 g) button mushrooms, sliced

1 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups (360 ml) beef broth

1 tsp Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: fresh parsley for garnish, cooked rice or mashed potatoes for serving
