Remove the Drawer: Pull out the washing machine drawer carefully. Most models allow you to fully remove the tray by pressing a release tab.

Soak the Drawer: Place the drawer in a basin or sink filled with warm water and 1 cup of white vinegar. Let it soak for 20–30 minutes to loosen grime and kill mould spores.

Scrub: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of baking soda on the drawer and scrub thoroughly with the toothbrush, focusing on corners and crevices where mould hides.

Rinse and Dry: Rinse the drawer under running warm water to remove all residue. Wipe it dry with a clean cloth or allow it to air dry completely.

Clean the Slot: While the drawer is drying, wipe the cavity inside the washing machine with a vinegar-soaked cloth to remove any leftover detergent or mould.

Reinsert the Drawer: Once everything is clean and dry, put the drawer back in place.
