Sprinkle baking soda generously over the burnt areas of your pan.
Pour white vinegar or lemon juice over the baking soda. The mixture will fizz — this reaction helps loosen burnt particles.
Let it sit for 15-20 minutes. For very stubborn spots, you can let it sit longer.
Add warm water to cover the bottom of the pan and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer on low heat for 5-10 minutes. This further softens the burnt residue.
Turn off the heat and let the pan cool enough to handle safely.
Use dish soap and a scrubbing sponge or nylon brush to scrub away the loosened burnt bits. Avoid steel wool on non-stick pans.
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry the pan.
