Puff Pastry Garland: Festive Holiday Appetizer

Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the pastry into strips about 2 cm wide, leaving a circle in the middle uncut (like a wreath).

Twist the strips:
Twist each strip several times and press the ends to the baking tray to keep the shape.

Egg wash:
Brush the entire pastry garland with beaten egg to give it a golden finish.

Bake:
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F). Bake for 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden.

Serve:
Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Tips
Experiment with different fillings like spinach and feta, sun-dried tomatoes, or caramelized onions.

Serve with a dipping sauce like marinara, ranch, or garlic aioli.

Make ahead and refrigerate for up to 4 hours before baking.
