Miracle in a Pot: Why You Should Grow Aloe Vera at Home

Choose a wide pot with good drainage and fill it with succulent soil.

Remove the Aloe Vera pup from the mother plant (if starting from a pup) and let it dry for 1–2 days to form a callous.

Plant the pup or purchased Aloe Vera in the center of the pot.

Place the pot in a bright location, ideally where it can receive 6–8 hours of indirect sunlight daily.

Water deeply but infrequently. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
