In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, Parmesan, mustard, and seasonings. Mix until just combined — don’t overwork.
Form into 4 patties of equal size.
Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through to your liking.
Serve hot with a side of vegetables or salad, or wrapped in lettuce for a low-carb burger.
