Mexican Shrimp Cocktail Delight

Boil shrimp in salted water until they curl into a loose “C” shape (about 2–3 minutes). Drain and immediately cool in ice water.

Cut the cooled shrimp into bite-sized pieces.

In a large bowl, combine shrimp, celery, jalapeño, cucumber, avocado, onion, and cilantro.

In a separate bowl, mix all sauce ingredients: citrus juice and zest, tomato juice, tomato sauce, garlic, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.

Pour the sauce over the shrimp mixture and gently stir to coat.

Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
