Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Dough:
In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and 50 g sugar together until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the flour and mix until the dough comes together.
Shape Cookies:
Roll the dough into small balls (about 1-inch diameter). Place on the baking sheet, spaced apart.
Flatten each ball gently with the bottom of a glass or your palm.
Add Sugar Topping:
Sprinkle the remaining 50 g sugar evenly over the flattened cookies.
Bake:
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden. Avoid overbaking to keep them soft.
Cool:
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
