Chop the raw mango into chunks.
Place the mango, green chilies, coriander leaves, peanuts (or roasted chana), cumin seeds, salt, and optional garlic into a grinder or food processor.
Pulse two to three times until you reach your desired texture — coarse or smooth.
Add sugar if you like a sweeter chutney and pulse again to mix.
Transfer to an airtight container.
