How to Remove Bleach Stains: An Infallible Remedy!

If the bleach spill is fresh, rinse the area with cold water right away to dilute the bleach and stop further damage.

Step 2: Neutralize the Bleach
Apply white vinegar to the stained area to neutralize residual bleach. Soak a cloth with vinegar and dab gently. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

Step 3: Wash Normally
Wash the fabric with mild detergent to remove any leftover bleach. Do this separately from other laundry.

Step 4: Assess the Stain
If the stain remains visible (often as a lighter or white patch), it’s time to disguise it.

Step 5: Match the Color
Use a fabric dye pen or a permanent marker that matches the original color. Test the color on a hidden spot first. Using a cotton swab or the marker tip, carefully color in the bleach stain. Let it dry completely.
