Spinach Mozzarella Sticks

Chop the mozzarella sticks into bite-sized pieces and mix them with the chopped spinach in a bowl.

Prepare three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with dried basil and garlic powder.

Take a small portion of the spinach and mozzarella mixture and shape it into sticks or small logs.

Roll each stick first in flour, then dip into the eggs, and finally coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.

Place the coated sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Refrigerate the sticks for 30 minutes to help them firm up.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the sticks for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Optionally, you can deep fry them in hot oil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
