Pat the red snapper fillets dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Rub the seasoning mixture evenly on both sides of each fillet.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
Cook the snapper fillets for about 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through and golden brown.
Remove from heat and set aside while preparing the creamy Creole sauce.
