In a medium bowl, combine boiling water, peanut butter, hoisin sauce, garlic, and lime juice or vinegar.
Stir until smooth. The sauce will thicken as it cools; add more water to reach desired consistency.
Serve in individual bowls, garnished with crushed peanuts and a drizzle of chili oil.
Yum Yum Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 tsp paprika
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp water
How to make:
Thoroughly mix all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for best flavor. Store in an airtight container in the fridge; use within one week.
