Prepare the Chocolate Cake Base:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and brewed coffee until combined.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until just combined.
Pour batter into pan and bake 35–40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
Prepare the Coffee Cream Layer:
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and butter until smooth.
Add coffee and vanilla, mix well.
Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Fold whipped cream gently into cream cheese mixture.
Assemble the Cake:
Spread coffee cream over cooled chocolate cake.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
