In a bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water.
Stir in the borax thoroughly until completely dissolved.
Soak cotton balls or small cloth pieces in the mixture.
Place these soaked cotton balls near ant trails, entry points, or places where you see ants.
Why This Works
The sugar attracts the ants.
Borax is toxic to ants but safe in small amounts for humans and pets when used carefully. It kills the ants after they carry it back to their nest, eliminating the colony.
