Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add sliced kielbasa and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add diced potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
