Irresistible Strawberry Cake – The Secret to a Delicious Dessert!

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 20 cm (8 inch) round cake pan.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and salt until frothy.

Add sugar and continue to beat until creamy and pale.

Slowly pour in the vegetable oil and milk while mixing gently.

Gradually fold in flour (about 200 g or 1 2/3 cup) until the batter is smooth and well combined.

Step 2: Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from oven and let cool completely in the pan.

Step 3: Prepare the Strawberries
While the cake cools, toss the sliced strawberries with sugar (if using) and let sit for 10-15 minutes to release their juices.

Step 4: Assemble
Once the cake is cool, spread the strawberries evenly on top. Optionally, drizzle with the juice from the strawberries for extra flavor.
