Collect your used batteries and check if they still hold some charge using a battery tester or by trying them in a low-power device.
Take a small piece of aluminum foil and wrap it around the negative end of the battery (the flat side). This helps improve the contact and sometimes revives the battery's ability to deliver power.
Place the wrapped batteries in a plastic container, keeping them separate to avoid any short circuits.
Use these batteries in low-drain devices like remote controls, clocks, or wireless keyboards.
Repeat the process as long as the batteries still function adequately.
