How to Remove White Patina from Glasses — The Cool Trick

Prepare the Vinegar Solution:
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and warm water in a bowl or your sink.

Soak the Glasses:
Place the glasses in the vinegar solution and let them soak for about 10–15 minutes. The acidity of vinegar helps dissolve mineral deposits causing the white patina.

Scrub Gently:
Remove the glasses and gently scrub the affected areas with a soft cloth or sponge. For stubborn spots, sprinkle a little baking soda on the cloth and scrub softly — the mild abrasive helps lift deposits without scratching.

Rinse Thoroughly:
Rinse the glasses under warm running water to remove all vinegar and baking soda residue.

Dry and Shine:
Dry the glasses immediately with a clean towel or microfiber cloth to avoid water spots. Buff gently for extra shine.

Extra Tips:
Use this method regularly to prevent buildup.

For dishwasher-safe glasses, run a vinegar rinse cycle occasionally to keep them sparkling.
