Easy Homemade Bread: Savor the Warmth!

In a large bowl, combine the warm water and dry yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.

Add olive oil and salt to the yeast mixture.

Gradually add the plain flour while mixing to form a dough.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it on a baking tray.

Let it rest for another 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F).

Bake the bread for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.

Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
