Broccoli and Mushrooms in a Frying Pan – My Go-To Recipe!

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cook for about 2-3 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the whole garlic clove and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and start to brown.

Remove the garlic clove. Add the cooked broccoli to the pan with the mushrooms.

Pour in the soy sauce and stir well to combine all ingredients. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Taste and adjust salt or soy sauce if needed. Serve warm.
