Savory Chicken Pie with Homemade Dough

Prepare the dough: In a large bowl, mix water, salt, and eggs. Gradually add flour and knead until a smooth dough forms. Add cubed butter and knead gently to incorporate. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Make the filling: Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté onions and garlic until soft. Add shredded chicken, chicken broth, cream, salt, pepper, and herbs. Simmer until slightly thickened. Let cool.

Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

Roll out two-thirds of the dough and line a pie dish. Pour in the cooled filling.

Roll out the remaining dough to cover the pie. Seal edges by pinching and cut slits on top to vent steam.

Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown.

Cool slightly before serving.
