Lamb Pasanda Recipe

Ingredients
700g (1½ lb) lamb shoulder, cut into cubes

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 large onion, finely chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 inch piece of ginger, grated

3 tbsp plain yogurt

2 tbsp ground almonds

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp ground cumin

½ tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground cardamom

1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk

1 cup lamb or chicken stock

2 tbsp tomato purée

2 tsp garam masala

Salt and pepper, to taste

Sliced almonds and fresh cilantro, for garnish
