In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
Gradually add the hot water while stirring with a spoon or your hand.
Add the vegetable oil and mix until the dough comes together.
Lightly flour your work surface and transfer the dough.
Knead gently for 1-2 minutes — just enough to combine.
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle.
Heat a dry skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each flatbread for 1-2 minutes on each side until puffed and lightly browned.
Remove and keep warm. The dough will puff up like a balloon during cooking!
