Savory Ground Beef Stir-Fry with Rice and Green Beans

Cook the Rice: Rinse the rice under cold water. Cook according to package instructions and set aside.

Blanch the Green Beans: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add green beans and cook for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).

Cook the Beef: Add the ground beef to the pan, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

Add Vegetables and Sauce: Stir in julienned carrot, soy sauce, hoisin sauce (if using), sesame oil, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 3-4 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.

Serve: Plate the cooked rice, top with the beef stir-fry mixture, and serve the blanched green beans on the side. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
